I recently wrote an entry regarding my thoughts on RIAA. For those of you that have read it, you’ll instantly know how much I can’t stand them. On top of that article I’ve found more tidbits of information that make me hurl at the sound of their name.
Here is a collection of RIAA positions, events, and lawsuits.

Here is an ariticle laying out the details of how the RIAA is getting their victims. It also contains an interview between the RIAA and a single mother who is being victimized.
With all this going on, you would think that the RIAA has their hands full; apparently not!!! According to this next article, the RIAA has moved their attention to Steve Jobs and iTunes. Their motive, that 99 cents per song is not enough money for the albums they produce.

This is total rubbish!!! I can’t believe it!! iTunes is one of only a few musical sites that are promoting a fixed system and that are being accepted by people worldwide; and RIAA wants to attack them?!?!
It’s GREED, it’s simply GREED.
If something doesn’t happen soon I truly fear where this malicious attitude is going to head. Where will the line be drawn?!? There are even speculations that the RIAA is going after tablature and song lyrics next (well it’s the MPA, but none the less affiliated with RIAA)!?!?
With all this frustration, I’m glad to say there are a few stances that are being made. We should all keep up with the latest news and start helping promote our digital freedoms!! I firmly believe if we stick together, and utilize the power of blogging and Internet we can become a powerful voice!

On a slightly separte note, here’s a link to a site that might possibly have the business model of the future for the music industry; they’re called Magnatune and you can read more about them on Techcrunch.
